Meet Brad

I have always known since I was young that I enjoyed creating and building and wanted this to be my future career. I achieved this goal right after finishing high school, starting my own business as a carpenter in 1991. Since that time, I have been building houses, as well as gradually increasing my business in the area of custom woodworking.

As my business has grown over the last thirty years, I have been constructing a variety of cabinetry and built-in furniture. I am passionate about this area of woodworking, and have progressively moved into designing additional pieces of custom furniture and cabinetry. Over the last five years, I have been incorporating metal with wood into some of my designs and have constructed a variety of benches, wine racks, custom kitchen pull-out cabinets and desks.

One area I most enjoy in projects is considering a theme. For example, the most recent kitchen project I completed was based on farming. The cabinets were made of reclaimed barn wood, steel, and even old dairy farm items the owner had asked to be integrated into the kitchen. I don’t necessarily have a specific style I work in, and have crafted modern as well as vintage looking pieces for customers.

I especially take pleasure in tracking down and purchasing unique pieces of wood to use in my projects. Finding the ideal piece of wood and being able to visualize what it could become is a fulfilling part of the process. Additionally, seeing the evolution and finished project are what drives me to continue creating and refining my craft. I look forward to new designs, conversations for ideas, and as always, the quest for the perfect slab of unique wood and the possibilities it holds.
